Get More Links With This Often Overlooked Page

It is, as it always has been the holy grail on online marketing:
links! There are many different ways to get links to your site: link
exchanges, certain services, blog commenting, articles and on and on.
Fortunately, most people skip over the easiest (and cheapest) way to
generate high quality backlinks to your site - tell your readers how
to link to you by creating a 'Link To Us' page

Why have a 'Link To Us' page? There are 2
reasons: you get to suggest to your visitors that they link to you -
suggestion is a powerful tool - and because you can suggest they use
the keywords you are looking to rank high for in the search engines.
Will everyone link to you? Some will, some won't. You're looking for
the ones who do and those who use your suggestions will help you with
your Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

In addition, there are just a lot of people who are not technically
inclined. By giving them links they can copy and paste, you are
ensuring the links from their site will be valid. It's a travesty for
your business if people want to link to you but they don't do it
properly. Broken links are the same as no links. In the end, if you
only get a few more quality links because of your page, it's well
worth the effort.

Now, what should be on a 'Link To Us'
page? It should include a variety of keyword specific text links,
thumbnail images, icons and, if you have them, banners. Make sure you
make it as simple as possible for people to copy and paste. Don't shy
away from saying the well worn "right-click to save images locally and
the upload to your web server". Ensure you put text links in a html
textbox where they will be easily copy and pasteable.

You then put a link to this page on a fairly prominent
place on your website, so everyone who visits will get the suggestion
to link to your site and that you make it easy to do so. Both of these
will make it much more likely you will generate links with the
keywords you want. It ends up being a win-win for everyone.

4.) BIZ*TECH SAVVY SOLUTIONS

Select All

Have you ever wanted to highlight a complete document or page all at once instead of dragging your mouse all the way from the bottom to the top of the page just so you can copy and paste it somewhere else? If it is two pages or more, it can be difficult to use your mouse for all of the text. Even then, sometimes your finger slips off the mouse and you have to start all over again.

If you're tired of all that nonsense, you can select all of the text on a page all at one time. All you have to do is select it all!

There are two ways you can do this. One is going to the Edit menu in whatever program you're working in (a Web page, MS Word, etc) and choose Select All. That will highlight the complete page of text, pictures, etc. Then you can just copy and paste the material wherever you want it. The job will be done much faster than using your mouse!

The other way to select it all is by using Ctrl + A. This keyboard shortcut will do the exact same thing. Just click once on the page you want to copy, press Ctrl and A at the same time and poof, it's done!
