Are pop-ups going Dinosaur way?
«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»
You have learnt various ways to attract the customers. It is
time now to learn what not to do to distract the customers.
You have built a web site full of information and quality
products, which is surely some serious stuff, but if in the
browsing your web site you quirk the visitor with pop-ups,
do you think the visitor will take you seriously? The answer
is a big NO. It is time to get rid of pop-ups and say
goodbye to them forever.
There was a time when pop-ups were considered another major
attraction for your web site but with each passing day
pop-ups have lost popularity. Internet users are no longer
interested in pop-up ads. They rather consider it as an
annoying factor.
Imagine watching your favorite thriller on the TV and a
commercial pops up suddenly. How do you feel? Your customer
feels the same when you use pop-ups. Your visitors come to
your site for quality information and any thing that stops
them from getting it, even for a few seconds, is definitely
a no no.
Pop-ups used to raise the interest levels of the visitors.
But now the internet users are sick and tired of using
sp*am filters, pop-blockers to avoid such disturbance. No
visitor wants to waste his/her quality time on annoying
pop-ups. Any intelligent user will leave your site and find
good information elsewhere on the internet. If you continue
to use pop-ups you will ultimately end up losing your good
prospects.
Do you recall the last time an over eager sales person made
your life miserable by talking about every thing under the
sun, but the product that he is selling? Did you feel good?
I bet not! that is precisely the mental condition of an
internet user who is bombarded with pop-ups. Keeping your
website purely functional - giving quality, real material
information is ultimately the key to your success.
Honesty is the best policy! Use your high quality content
and products to convince your customer of your genuineness.
Hyped up advertising, incredible offers are not the best
way because ultimately the customer will judge you by the
quality he perceives from your website. You cannot get a
second chance to make a First Impression. So, earn the
respect of the customer by being honest and straight
forward.
So, let the pop-ups perish like the dinosaurs!

Missing dll file
If you get a message that says a dll file is missing, if you do
a search for the file and it is there, you can get it to work.
Somehow the .dll was deactivated. This can sometimes happen when
new software or applications are installed. With Windows ME,
2000, and XP however, Microsoft provides a way to re-activate
the dll files called Regsvr32. If you get a missing dll or
missing ActiveX message, first do a search for the file. If you
find it, then go to Start/Run and type in "regsrv32 (space) dll
name" then hit OK.
Example – if the missing dll is heymon.dll and you have found it,
Type in – regsrv32 heymon.dll
Hopefully this will solve your problem.
