4. Perseverance pays off. Every important

5. When one spot stops working, move
to another. But be sure to come back
later (see #4).

6. The creator of the puzzle gave you the
picture as a guidebook.

7. Variety is the spice of life. It's the
different colors and patterns that make
the puzzle interesting.

8. Working together with friends and
family makes any task fun.

9. Establish the border first. Boundaries
give a sense of security and order.


10. Don't be afraid to try different combinations.
Some matches are surprising.

11. Take time often to celebrate your
successes (even little ones).

12. Anything worth doing takes time
and effort. A great puzzle can't be
rushed.

It is officially the first day of summer.
In south Florida, it means tons of rain
and humidity, with tropical storms and
hurricanes popping up everywhere. We are
currently in the midst of a tropical wave.
Haven't seen sunshine in 2 days so far.

And today, as I looked to the west, it was
so dark with storms, and I could swear I saw
a funnel cloud. What a nervous wreck I was
about that. Evidentially it never touched ground,
but on the news they were talking about the funnel
clouds. It just blows my mind when I think about
these forces of nature that can literally wipe
your life, as you know it, away from you.

I learned a long time ago that you need to appreciate
what you have, instead of dwelling on what you want.
Alot of times we forget that. And it could take
something as little as spotting a funnel cloud off
in the distance to realize how precious living life,
as we know it, really is.

So...
instead of saying, "I wish", or "If I could have",
or "I need", Try saying, "I am glad", or
"I am happy", or "Thank you".

Do you ever feel like you are the only one on the Internet?
Does it seem like you are "flapping your gums in the wind"?

It really isn't as bad as it seems. Part of the problem
is that we have been conditioned by the early "gurus"
to expect results immediately. This is part of the old
"make money in your sleep" syndrome. "Build it and they will
come."

Well, it's time to face reality. Business does NOT work that way. It takes
time and a lot of hard work to build a business. There are many people on the
Internet. But there are also many people on the Internet who have been taken
and fallen prey to scams. By the time they get to you, they are either very
wary that you and your program is as good and honest as you say it is or they
are running very low on money and hesitant to risk what money they have left.

So what can you do? You can keep advertising, keep doing business the honest
way, keep your common sense. You build a business one customer at a time. And
the way to build a good and viable business is to treat people the way you
would want them to treat you, because a business becomes a stable one with
returning customers and customer referrals.

Don't let panic make you greedy. And don't give up your principles for the
almighty dollar. If you really want to be in this "for the long haul", you
need to stay focused.

Continue to advertise in ezines, continue to purchase leads, continue to get
traffic to your site. Whatever you do, don't stop advertising. Look at all
the "biggies" out there. They don't stop advertising. Why? Because
advertising works!

NOW is the time to advertise
heavily. Get yourself known to the newbies. Get the word out about your
business. If you don't do it, it won't get done! Common sense will tell you
they won't find you if you don't advertise.

It takes money to make money. Unfortunate truth, but truth nonetheless. If
you aren't willing to invest in your business, what makes you think you can
convince anyone else to invest in it? Think of the big businesses on and off
the Internet. For example, Microsoft. Do you see advertising for them? Of
course you do, because they know it's the only way to STAY in business. All
businesses have competition. If you don't remind them you exist, they will go
to your competition who IS reminding them they are there.

Don't look for THE secret. There isn't one! If there is such a thing as THE
secret, it's ADVERTISE.

How to Properly Remove Programs
=================================================

How to properly remove programs from your computer. This
does not apply to Windows XP...

Windows has a little program that helps you
delete applications safely and CORRECTLY. Why correctly?
Because a lot of new software leaves entries in the Registry,
and unless you uninstall your programs, the excess code gets
left behind. Not so tidy. So when you want to delete an
application, follow these steps:

1. Click Start.
2. Choose Settings + Control Panel.
3. In the Control Panel window, double-click the Add/Remove
Programs icon.
4. Under "The following software can be automatically removed
by Windows..." select the application you want to remove.
5. Click Add/Remove and follow the instructions to remove the
application. It will show you dialog boxes to assist you in the
process.

When you remove programs, you may be asked if you want to
remove files called "DLLs". That's an acronym for Dynamic Linked
Library file. These are shared by other programs. If you want to be
real safe, just answer "No" to the question. Everything but the
files in question will be removed. (Everything related to the
program you're uninstalling, of course.)

This is all very geeky, really. But the time may come when you
need to uninstall something. So use this. Don't just delete the
files that make up programs randomly
