Although most people head off to work for someone else
every day of their careers, some march to the beat of a
different drummer by owning and operating their own
business on the Internet. Are you ready to join them?

Getting a new venture up and running on the Internet
takes business skills and personality traits that are
not all that common. If you are considering starting
your own Internet business, take a moment to ask
yourself the following questions:
1) Do you have organizing abilities, personal drive
and leadership qualities?
2) Are you in good physical health, able to endure
long hours?
3) Are you psychologically ready to take some risks?
4) Are you prepared to wait several months to make
a profit?
5) Do you have specific expertise in the business you
want to start?
6) Do you know how to find your particular niche in
the market and how to identify your customers?
7) Do you know how to sell enough of what you have,
at a price that will return an adequate profit for
you?
8) Can you obtain the money you will need to start and
keep the business running without getting into cash
flow problems?
9) Do you like to think ahead and plan for your future,
then work to make it happen?
10) Do you have the support of your family?
Starting a business online certainly has unique
challenges, but if you answered yes to a majority of
the preceding questions, you may have what it takes to

A Word From The Editor:
We hope you have enjoyed this issue of the
Online Exchange E-zine.
We would like to welcome all our New Subscribers.
Well, it looks like the scammers and frauds are
at it again! For many of you, this is going to seem
like one of the most ridiculous and desperate
ploys a business can make. But, none-the-less,
this does happen, as sad as it is....
A couple of our advertisers, who have placed Ads
with us on a steady basis brought to our attention
that there are ezine publishers that take email
address from ADs in this ezine and add them
to their mailing list, without their permission. The reason
these advertisers know that it is being done this way,
is that they are fairly new to the business industry,
and both of them are subscribers ONLY to The Online
Exchange. They have not extended their advertising
any further than us as of yet, so the only way this could
happen is from through their advertising with us.
These people are not upset, but just flabbergasted at
the audacity of these people. These people go around
and subscribe under FREE email accounts to various
ezines, then take the ADs that have email addresses
on them and they subscribe these people without
permission.
In my opinion, if you cannot legitimately recruit subscribers
through normal forms of advertising, then you are in the wrong
business. I spend a lot of money on my advertising campaign,
just to recruit subscribers, and everyone I have on my mailing
list requested to be there. It takes a lot of HARD WORK, and
quite a few pennies to get where I am with my subscriber base,
but at least it is done honestly. And the people who do
read The OnLine Exchange Ezine read it because they want
to. NOT because they were scammed by a bogus subscription.
I feel sorry for the people who go to these desperate measures.
And for all of us who do run our business honestly....
Don't think that you have to disguise yourself in your AD by
NOT adding your email address in fear these people will subscribe
you to their ezine or downline. If you are in this same situation,
it is easy to just REPORT THEM to their ISP. Don't bother emailing
them and yelling, because obviously they do not care.
Sooner or later, with enough complaints and a record of spamming,
they will be shut down. Maybe only temporarily, but they will know
they do dirty business and they will know it won't last.
Enough of my ramblings. I bet most of you got a kick out
of this little story. We all have to laugh at these people, for
we know we are above them, and we are true business professionals,
and not a poor excuse of a scam artist.
